Given that this site is about sharing the research into certain parenting practices, it seemed fitting to start setting up some research of my own. There are tons of topics that are of interest and still need to be covered in the research literature on parenting so I hope you’ll all help me to fill this gap. Of course, I can only do survey research here, meaning that the questions to be answered will be limited in scope and analyses, but hopefully we’ll find out some interesting things along the way. Once a given study is completed, I will analyze the results and write them up as a post for the site!

If you have a research idea you think can be answered using a survey, please let me know and we can work to set it up.

Factors Affecting Post-Partum Amenorrhea. This is a survey designed to assess various factors that may be linked to the duration of time between the birth of the baby and when a woman gets her period back. While we know breastfeeding is a huge contributor, the fact remains that there is a lot of variability even amongst those women who breastfeed and I’m hoping this survey will help discover some other factors that may influence this part of a woman’s life. The entire survey should take approximately 20 minutes to complete and you must complete it in one sitting.
